PCGA Code Of Ethics

We acknowledge and accept that a member of the Professional Chimney Guild of America comes with a certain set of responsibilities and obligations. So with this, we pledge to :

Represent ourselves, the company we work for, and the PCGA in the utmost professional manner. We do so by providing services, skills, and education that pertain to all of the local codes and regulations for the given service area.

To strive to continue to constantly update my education, techniques, and skills as new technology and information continue to evolve.

To conduct me in a respectful, and appropriate manner when serving in any official capacity, or as a representative of my company.

To fully comply with and abide by the rules and guidelines set forth by The Professional Chimney Guild of America.

I hereby agree to conform to the PCGA’s Code of Ethics during the term of my membership. By agreeing to this Code of Ethics, I understand that it is my responsibility to remain abreast of any changes to the Code of Ethics, that my actions and those of my company and employees may be reviewed by a committee of my peers, and that failure to abide by these ethical obligations is a violation of PCGA policy and, in accordance with PCGA’s Ethics Violation Procedure, may result in disciplinary action as determined by PCGA or its delegated committee.

I agree to hold harmless PCGA and its committees from any and all liability resulting from any disciplinary action taken against me. I represent and warrant that I am authorized to sign this application, and the information contained herein is true, accurate, and complete.
